It’s Friday. Quick jaunt down to Rudy’s to get the hair snipped, than over to Safeway for some eats to grill. Took a couple quick shots of the current loaner steed.
Current bike is a Jupiter, from a chain of bike shops by the same name in Denmark. Think Performance in Denmark and you’d just about hit the nail on the head. I >>think<< that the bike I’m riding is this model, only older, but as my Danish is non-existent I could be wrong (btw, if there are any Danish women in Portland that would like to help me speak Dane ping me…please).
This thing is well setup for a lower end city bike from the land where they know city bikes and utilize them on a daily basis. 7-speed internal geared SRAM hub, gripshift, fenders, rear rack and lights. Only issue I have with the bike is it puts a lot of weight on my wrists, but I could alleviate that by playing with the saddle/handlebar heights.
Popped off a few rather uninteresting pics just to test out the new Sigma 10-20. Seems reasonably sharp, but had to clone over a bat shaped chunk of sensor dust that first showed up on the 4th.

More Jupiter. Note groceries on the rear rack. Apparently you CAN shop for groceries without a car!

Steering tube, top tube, and tube steak (on the rack)
Hope everyone has a good weekend!
